Pinnacle’s Main Office in Raleigh Achieves LEED Silver Certification

Banking, Finance, Press Releases Banking, Construction, Pinnacle

RALEIGH, NC – October 26, 2017 – Pinnacle Financial Partners’ main office in Raleigh has earned LEED Silver certification for building features and construction efforts that promote conservation and sustainability to benefit the environment. This location is also the firm’s newest office in the Triangle, having opened in July at 3515 Glenwood Avenue.

“Growth is our modus operandi at Pinnacle, and we like doing it responsibly,” said John Freeman, Pinnacle’s senior facilities manager in the Carolinas and Virginia. “We were aiming for LEED Certification, but thanks to the excellent work of our architects at HagerSmith Design and our contractors from Choate Construction, we were able to go even further to reach the Silver designation.”

The Glenwood building is owned by Pinnacle, who occupies the first floor with a full-service banking location and offices for market leaders and financial advisors. The team inside handles commercial banking, wealth, mortgage, treasury management and Small Business Administration lending. There is also room for additional growth as needed, as well as a drive-thru and ATM.

Part of the second floor of the building is leased to Raymond James, and the third floor is available for lease.

Pinnacle Financial Partners provides a full range of banking, investment, trust, mortgage and insurance products and services designed for businesses and their owners and individuals interested in a comprehensive relationship with their financial institution. The firm earned a place on Fortune’s 2017 list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For in the U.S., and American Banker recognized Pinnacle as the sixth-best bank to work for in 2017.

Pinnacle entered the North Carolina market in 2017 when it acquired BNC Bancorp, known locally as Bank of North Carolina. Pinnacle continues BNC’s practice of offering community bank service with the resources and sophistication of a larger firm.

The firm began operations in a single location in downtown Nashville, TN in October 2000 and has since grown to approximately $21.8 billion in assets as of September 30, 2017. As the second-largest bank holding company headquartered in Tennessee, Pinnacle operates in 11 primarily urban markets in Tennessee, the Carolinas and Virginia.

Additional information concerning Pinnacle, which is included in the NASDAQ Financial-100 Index, can be accessed at www.pnfp.com.
